Five are charged in connection with kidnapping and a prostitution ring. Four of the five were arrested at a hotel in Avenel late last night and early this morning, and a fifth was eventually arrested at his girlfriend's house in Scotch Plains. Three were charged directly with the prostitution crimes. Police say they found drugs during their arrests, and some of the suspects didn't cooperate, leading to charges for two others.
